Roles of the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs and Student-Related Issues<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • Ensure the management and follow-up of undergraduate student enrollments.<\/li>

  • Monitor the progress of educational activities and take or suggest to the Dean any actions aimed at improving them.<\/p><\/li>

  • Keep an up-to-date nominal and statistical list of students.<\/p><\/li>

  • Collect, process, and publish educational information for the benefit of students.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    The Vice-Dean\u2019s office is divided into three departments:<\/p>

    Teaching Department<\/strong>
    The Faculty\u2019s Teaching Department is responsible for the following tasks:<\/p>

    • Prepare and supervise the enrollment process for new high school graduates.<\/p><\/li>

    • Supervise the student transfer process.<\/p><\/li>

    • Monitor student academic leave requests.<\/p><\/li>

    • Ensure follow-up on the disciplinary status of faculty students.<\/p><\/li>

    • Supervise Master 1 student enrollments.<\/p><\/li>

    • Prepare certified copies of graduation certificates (Diploma Service) for Master\u2019s students upon request.<\/p><\/li>

    • Keep Bachelor\u2019s degree certificates of Master\u2019s students during their studies and submit them to the Faculty Diploma Service once the student graduates. Certificates are also provided to students who fail in the Master\u2019s program upon request.<\/p><\/li>

    • Monitor and update the faculty\u2019s student academic database.<\/p><\/li>

    • Monitor and update the National Service records of students.<\/p><\/li>

    • Monitor and update the student insurance records database.<\/p><\/li>

    • Track and update various educational statistics of the faculty\u2019s students.<\/p><\/li>

    • Monitor the status of international students at the faculty.<\/p><\/li>

    • Prepare final results for faculty students.<\/p><\/li>

    • Issue duplicates of student ID cards or enrollment certificates in case of damage or loss.<\/p><\/li>

    • Track and update meeting minutes and keep copies.<\/p><\/li>

    • Coordinate and follow up on faculty educational monitoring and evaluation services.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Guidance and Evaluation Department<\/strong><\/p>

      • Monitor the progress of courses and academic programs.<\/p><\/li>

      • Track the progress of exams.<\/p><\/li>

      • Ensure the proper functioning of academic committees.<\/p><\/li>

      • Process and disseminate educational information.<\/p><\/li>

      • Ensure proper implementation of internship and training programs.<\/p><\/li>

      • Follow up on any issues raised during internships or training organized by students.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
