Abstract :

    The character would be all the more semantically productive (ie, semiotically) that he would be considered as a concept and no longer as only a fictitious person. The interest of such a conversion, beyond its theoretical foundation; the interest is to be able to operate on "conceptual" corpuses by definition, mythico-hieratic corpus. In L'enfant de sable, the rationality of this consideration is plausible. Indeed, in this novel, the character can henceforth be re-constructed, through the logos (of the novel), as a concept on the model of the child-concept, from the point of view of the muthos; that was Jesus Christ, the Word of God

Résumé :

    Le personnage serait d'autant plus productif sémantiquement (soit donc, sémiotiquement) qu'il serait considéré comme concept et non plus désormais comme seulement personne fictive. L'intérêt d'une telle conversion, au-delà de son assise théorique; l'intérêt est de pouvoir opérer sur des corpus « conceptuels » par définition, corpus mythico-hiératiques. Dans L'enfant de sable*, la rationalité de cette considération est plausible. En effet, dans ce roman, le personnage pourra désormais  être re-construit, à travers le logos (du roman), comme concept sur le modèle de l'enfant-concept, du point de vue du muthos; que fut Jésus-Christ, verbe de Dieu.
