Abstract :

   Researchers agree in the field of the history of the Algerian Revolution 1954-1962 on the scarcity of historical sources that can be relied upon in the completion of their researches and studies. What is overlooked by many is the availability of considerable documentary material, some of which have not been studied at all and others have been superficial or accidental. Newspapers that were published during that period are the most reliable sources, but after screening their material and comparing them with other sources. This conviction formed the basis of the study carried out on the subject of the attacks of 20 August 1955 in northern Constantine through the colonial media in Algeria Newspaper

الملخص:

   يتفق الباحثون في مجال تاريخ الثورة الجزائرية54/1962 حول شح المصادر التاريخية التي يمكن الاعتماد عليها في انجاز بحوثهم ودراساتهم ,لكن ما يغفل عنه الكثيرون هو توفر مادة وثائقية لا يستهان بها, بعضها لم يدرس إطلاقا والبعض الآخر درس بشكل سطحي أو عرضي فقط ,و تشكل الصحف التي كانت تصدر إبان تلك الفترة أهم هذه المصادر التي يمكن الاعتماد عليها لكن بعد غربلة مادتها و مقارنتها بمصادر أخرى. شكلت هذه القناعة أساس الدراسة التي أنجزتها حول موضوع هجومات 20 أوت1955 بالشمال القسنطيني من خلال الإعلام الاستعماري بالجزائر جريدة

"L’écho d’ Alger " نموذجا ,فكيف عالجت الجريدة هذه الهجومات ؟ و هل راعت الموضوعية و الحياد في نقل الأحداث ؟
