“The history of Algeria in the old through the writings of «Stéphane Gsell».”

Abstract:

   The writing of the history of Algeria in the past has been the preserve of French historians who have written dozens of books and written many articles in magazines and periodicals such as the African Journal and the publications of the two historical societies of Constantine and Oran, relying on Latin sources that glorify the Roman occupation in order to justify the French occupation of Algeria. A factor prepared and complementary to the previous. The colonial French monopolization of the history of Algeria has had a negative impact on the research of the ancient history of Algeria, which the French have confined to the political and military history of the invading peoples, ignorant of or abrogated by the history of the indigenous peoples. In order to highlight the damage of this French monopoly, we chose to talk about the author of "Stéphane Gsell" (the ancient history of North Africa) and reference to other works, which dated to the Carthaginians, the Roman occupation, and the independent kingdoms that have been in conflict with the Roman occupier for long historical periods. As a symbol of the French colonial colonial school, he continued to magnify the civilization of his Roman ancestors, making excuses for France's occupation of Algeria. As we introduce the book of Ghazal study, we seek to make some observations about it and to show the distortions it contained in the history of our country, and the right of Algerian society to own its history, and look at the independent and internal view to the past. The liberation of the history of ancient Algeria from French hegemony may restore its status as a stage of great importance like the rest of the historical stages experienced by our country.

تاريخ الجزائر في القديم من خلال كتابات ستيفان قزال « Stéphane Gsell»

ظلت كتابة تاريخ الجزائر في القديم حكرا على المؤرخين الفرنسيين الذين قاموا بتأليف عشرات الكتب، وكتابة العديد من المقالات في المجلات والدوريات كالمجلة الإفريقية ونشرتي الجمعيتين الأثريتين لمدينتي قسنطينة ووهران، معتمدين في ذلك على المصادر اللاتينية التي تمجد الإحتلال الروماني، من أجل تبرير الإحتلال الفرنسي للجزائر واعتباره عاملا محضرا ومكملا لسابقه. ولقد ظل الإحتكار الفرنسي الإستعماري لتاريخ الجزائر يؤثر بصورة سلبية على البحث في التاريخ القديم للجزائر، الذي حصره الفرنسيون في التاريخ السياسي والعسكري للشعوب الغازية مغفلين تاريخ السكان الأصليين أو معرجين عليه بصورة مقتضبة. ومن أجل إبراز أضرار هذا الإحتكار الفرنسي، اخترنا التحدث عن مؤلف "Stéphane Gsell" (التاريخ القديم لإفريقيا الشمالية) والإشارة إلى مؤلفات أخرى، التي أرّخ من خلالها للقرطاجيين، والإحتلال الروماني، والممالك المستقلة التي ظلت في صراع مع المحتل الروماني لفترات تاريخية طويلة. وباعتبار قزال رمزا من رموز المدرسة التاريخية الفرنسية الإستعمارية، فإنّه ظل يعظم حضارة أسلافه الرومان، ويختلق الذرائع لقيام فرنسا باحتلال الجزائر. ونحن إذ نطرح كتاب قزال للدراسة، فإنّنا نسعى إلى إبداء بعض الملاحظات حوله وتبيان التشويهات التي تضمنها بالنسبة لتاريخ بلادنا، وأحقية المجتمع الجزائري في امتلاك تاريخه، والنظر بنظرة مستقلة وداخلية إلى ماضيه. كما أنّ تحرير تاريخ الجزائر القديم من الهيمنة الفرنسية قد يعيد له مكانته باعتباره مرحلة ذات أهمية كبيرة مثل بقية المراحل التاريخية التي مرّت بها بلادنا.
