Short Biography

Nasreddine Taleb received a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University, an Elect.Eng. degree from Northeastern University, Boston, and a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Djillali Liabes University, Sidi Bel Abbes, Algeria.

He is currently a Professor at the Electronics Department, College of Electrical Engineering, Djillali Liabes University of Sidi Bel Abbes, where he has been teaching since 1990 and where he is also a Senior Research Scientist and the Director of the “Communication Networks, Architecture, and Multimedia” Laboratory.

His principal research interests are in the fields of digital signal and image processing, image analysis, medical and satellite image applications, pattern recognition, and advanced architectures for the implementation of DSP/DIP applications.
