Dean of the Faculty

Welcome to the Official Website of the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences
Whether you are a visitor or a member of the university community, and whether you are looking for information about our training programs, class schedules, exam timetables, internships, research areas, or current events at the faculty — this website has been created for you.
Our faculty was established in 2012 under Executive Decree No. 12-272 dated 8 Shaaban 1433, corresponding to June 28, 2012. It offers a wide range of academic programs covering five fields: Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology, and Food Science. These continuing education programs in the various disciplines of Natural and Life Sciences are distributed across three departments (Agricultural Sciences, Biology, and Environmental Sciences), taking into account the resources available in the wilaya. This allows our students to acquire essential knowledge and skills for better professional integration. The programs are taught by research professors, doctors, and specialists in the respective fields.
Alongside its academic mission of imparting knowledge and education, our faculty also strives to train researchers in collaboration with its five research laboratories. The research themes are aligned with the country’s socio-economic needs and are supported by numerous national and international agreements, which facilitate the integration of our PhD students into various universities and research teams.
Moreover, the faculty is also active in sports, scientific, and cultural activities through the participation of its sports teams and clubs in numerous local and national events.
The launch of this new website is part of a broader initiative to strengthen communication among all stakeholders, which will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement and success of our institution in fulfilling its noble mission.
In this regard, we wish you a pleasant browsing experience and would be very happy to receive your comments, feedback, and suggestions.
