Invitation to the Information Day on the Erasmus+ Programme

We are pleased to invite you to an information day on the Erasmus+ Programme, which will take place on November 10, 2025, at 09:30, in the Gaafour Youcef Conference Room (Abouni Bouziane Library) on campus.

The event aims to present the various opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme, explain the application procedures for Erasmus Mundus scholarships for students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree in Europe, and promote the exchange of information and coordination between faculties.

Important Notice Regarding the Use of the Faculty Café

The Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences informs all students that it is strictly forbidden to engage in any kind of games inside the faculty café, such as card games, dominoes, or any similar activities.
This decision follows the observation of such practices, which are inconsistent with the intended purpose of this space — a place dedicated primarily to rest and the consumption of food and beverages by all members of the faculty community, including teachers, staff, students, and service workers.
The Faculty Administration therefore reminds everyone to respect this rule and to help maintain order and discipline within university facilities, relying on everyone’s awareness and sense of responsibility.

Field Trip for Master Students in Natural Environment Ecology to Sebkha of Bethioua and ENASEL Factory

As part of the field trips organized by the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, and in its commitment to connect students with the socio-economic sectors, as well as within its strategy for training in sustainable development and the preservation of natural reserves, a field visit was organized for second-year Master students in “Ecology of Natural Environments” to Sebkha of Bethioua (a site of international importance classified under the Ramsar Convention), followed by a visit to the largest salt production factory in western Algeria (ENASEL).

EXTENSION OF THE ELECTRONIC PAYMENT PERIOD FOR REGISTRATION AND RE-REGISTRATION FEES

Concerning the extension of the electronic payment period for registration and re-registration fees for the 2025–2026 academic year, for some late students.
According to instruction No. 247/M.A.T/2025, dated November 3rd, 2025, issued by the General Directorate of Education and Training.

The General Directorate of Education and Training of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the extension of the period dedicated to the electronic payment of registration and re-registration fees for the 2025–2026 academic year,
until Tuesday, November 11th, 2025, at midnight

🔬 As part of promoting knowledge exchange and encouraging mutual partnership between higher education institutions, and in line with the roadmap set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a delegation from the Higher School of Biological Sciences of Oran paid a working visit to the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, Djillali Liabès University, Sidi Bel Abbès.
🎯 The visit aimed to strengthen previously established cooperation perspectives and translate them into concrete actions through:

  • Defining mechanisms to launch joint research projects serving national development priorities.
  • Promoting academic and scientific exchange between professors and researchers to enhance the quality of education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

RENEWAL OF THE SCIENTIFIC CLUB MYCOMINDS AT THE FACULTY OF NATURAL AND LIFE SCIENCES

As part of efforts to promote initiative and enhance student engagement within the university campus, a general assembly was held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, for the renewal of the scientific club “MYCOMINDS”.
The event was attended by the Faculty’s Secretary General, the Head of the Scientific, Cultural and Sports Activities Office, and the club’s founding members.
🧠 The election resulted in Mr. N’GADI Mohamed being elected as President, and Ms. ABED Doaa as Vice-President.
🌿 We wish them every success in their mission to foster creativity and scientific activity within the faculty.

As part of the commemoration of national memory and the honoring of the martyrs of the Algerian Revolution, CHADLI BENDJEDID UNIVERSITY – EL TARF, in collaboration with THE UNIVERSITY SERVICES DIRECTORATE OF EL TARF, is organizing THE FIRST EDITION OF THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY COMPETITION for the best artistic portrait dedicated to the heroines and martyrs of the Revolution, in both online and in-person formats.

TRAINING AND AWARENESS WORKSHOP ON THE GRADUATION THESIS AS A START-UP PROJECT

As part of the implementation of Decree No. 008 amending and supplementing Decree No. 1275 concerning the graduation project as an economic enterprise, the University Incubator and the Free Algerian Students Organization, in coordination with the Department of Cultural, Scientific, and Sports Activities of the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, organized an awareness and training lecture on the graduation thesis as a start-up project.
This initiative aims to strengthen the connection between higher education and the economic sector, while promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
The decree provides students with a real opportunity to transform their ideas into feasible and practical projects.
