Announcement to the University and Research Community
The Faculty of Law and Political Sciences has the honor to inform all faculty members, researchers, doctoral students, and students of the launch of the call for applications for the 2026 edition of the UNESCO–King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education.
The theme selected for this year is:
“Reimagining creativity and critical thinking through artificial intelligence.”
Established in 2005 with the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain, this prize aims to recognize innovative projects and initiatives that use ICT to enhance learning, teaching, and educational performance.
Two (02) laureates will be selected, each receiving a monetary award of USD 25,000.
In this context, Algeria, as a Member State of UNESCO, is invited to submit up to three (03) nominations through the National Commission, no later than 08 May 2026.
