Call for Nominations for the UNESCO / Juan Bosch Award 2026

📢 The Algerian National Committee announces the opening of nominations for the UNESCO / Juan Bosch Award 2026, aimed at promoting research in social sciences and humanities in Latin America and the Caribbean, and honoring young researchers contributing to developmental social policies.

🔹 Award Value: USD 12,000 funded by the Government of the Dominican Republic, awarded to the author(s) of the best thesis.
🔹 Eligibility:

• Candidates must be under 40 years old;
• Research must relate to positive social transformations in the region;
• A written recommendation highlighting the candidate’s achievements and contributions to social transformations in Latin America and the Caribbean must be included.

⏰ Deadline for submission: February 15, 2026
📩 Note: Nominations must be submitted through the Algerian National Committee only. Direct submissions by individuals are not accepted.
