Reminder – Call for Abstracts

Threads of Change: Weaving Silk Road Cooperation for a Resilient World

The conference will take place in Algeria from 15 to 18 November 2026 across Tlemcen, Bejaia, Setif, and Algiers.

Contributions are welcomed from all academic disciplines and should address one of the following thematic panels:

1.    Climate Change – Shared Challenges, Diverse Solutions

2.    Social Sustainability – Preserving Heritage While Building the Future

3.    Cognitive and Resilient Built Environments – Smart Cities Along the Silk Road

Submissions may also relate to the conference’s specialized academic forums on cultural heritage, medicine and public health, international and transdisciplinary research cooperation, sports, and languages.

Submission guidelines:

·       Abstract length: 300–500 words

·       Language: English

·       Keywords: 3–5 keywords

·       Format: Word or PDF

·       Abstract submission deadline: 1 October 2026

·       Optional full-paper submission deadline: 31 October 2026

·       Types of contribution: individual papers, panel proposals, or pilot project showcases

Authors should clearly indicate their primary academic field and the thematic panel that best corresponds to their contribution.

Registration and abstract submission are completed through the same online form:

Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Outstanding papers may also be considered for publication in high-quality journals, with publication fees covered by the Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN). Awards will be presented for the best papers and presentations.
