ANNOUNCEMENT OF A NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC DAY ON INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN BIOTECHNOLOGY AND THE ENVIRONMENT

The Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences at Djillali Liabès University of Sidi Bel Abbès, through the Department of Environmental Sciences, is pleased to announce the organization of a National Scientific Day on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Biotechnology and the Environment, under the theme: Research, Innovation and Sustainable Impact.

Preamble

In the context of major environmental and technological transformations, the development of innovative scientific solutions has become essential to addressing challenges related to biodiversity conservation, sustainable natural resource management and climate change mitigation.

Biotechnology and eco-innovation offer promising opportunities for the valorization of biological resources, the development of sustainable products and the promotion of an environmentally responsible economy.

This scientific event aims to strengthen the links between scientific research and the socio-economic sector while encouraging initiative and entrepreneurship among researchers, PhD students and innovators. It also seeks to support the transformation of research findings into innovative projects, start-ups and practical solutions.

Objectives

The main objectives of this event are to:

• Promote eco-innovation and scientific entrepreneurship.
• Strengthen collaboration between researchers, economic stakeholders and industrial partners.
• Enhance the value and practical application of research in biotechnology and environmental sciences.
• Encourage the creation of start-ups and the development of innovative projects.
