Call for Applications

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 programme, the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (Romania) invites academic staff to participate in the 12th edition of the International Week (iWeek 2026), which will take place from May 11 to May 15, 2026.

You are invited to join ULBS iWeek 2026 to foster sustainable and collaborative cooperation in the fields of education, research, and innovation.

Only one (01) spot is available to participate in this event.

iWeek 2026 Topics

• Artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in higher education
• The social impact of universities and community engagement
• Diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic environments
• Academic mobility and cooperation in a changing global context
• Data-driven decision-making in higher education
• Open science, research integrity and academic ethics
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge transfer

Participation in the Programme

• Academic staff may contribute by presenting one or two lectures on one of the proposed topics.
• The audience will mainly consist of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as professors.
• Lectures will be delivered in English, German, or French.
• The event will be organized in a hybrid format, including both online and on-site sessions.
