On Monday 16 December 2024, the Taleb Mourad Faculty of Medicine, in collaboration with the Lab-NuPABS research laboratory at the Djillali Liabès University in Sidi Bel Abbès, organised a scientific day entitled ‘LE RDV scientifique de l’équipe PATHOL THERAP’. The scientific and molecular biology research topics covered were: -Breast cancer genomics and molecular alterations – Liquid biopsy of circulating tumour DNA – Circulating tumour cells – Helicobacter pylori and gastric cancer. The organising president of this event, Dr. BENCHIHA Nawel Nassima, and the members of the PATHOLTHERAP (Lab-NuPABS) research team, shared their knowledge and expertise in the field of molecular biology, for the benefit of teacher-researchers and students. The interdisciplinary scientific exchange was highly enriching, highlighting the challenge of molecular biology in the treatment of breast cancer. Participants were able to learn about the benefits of molecular biology in the diagnosis, monitoring and personalised treatment of cancer patients. Club SYLVIUS was praised for its professionalism in organising the event.
