As part of the organization of evening scientific events, the Taleb Mourad Faculty of Medicine organized a scientific day on Monday, December 16, 2024, in collaboration with the Lab-NuPABS research laboratory at Djillali Liabès University in Sidi Bel Abbès, “THE PATHOL THERAP TEAM’S SCIENTIFIC MEETING.” The scientific and research themes in molecular biology focused on:
- Breast cancer genomics and molecular alterations
- Liquid biopsy – circulating tumor DNA – Circulating tumor cells
- Helicobacter pylori and gastric cancer.
The organizing chair of this event, Dr. Nawel Nassima BENCHIHA, and members of the PATHOLTHERAP (Lab-NuPABS) research team, shared their knowledge and expertise in the field of molecular biology for the benefit of faculty members and students. This interdisciplinary scientific forum was highly enriching, highlighting the challenges of molecular biology in the treatment of breast cancer. Participants were able to benefit from the value of molecular biology in the diagnosis, monitoring, and personalized treatment of cancer patients.
