Provincial Training Meeting for General Practitioners on Breast Cancer at Djillali Liabes University – Sidi Bel Abbes

Sidi Bel Abbes – On Sunday morning, October 26, 2025, at the Central Library of the late Dr. Abouni Bouziane at the University Complex of Djillali Liabes University, a provincial training forum for general practitioners was held under the slogan “From early detection to treatment”.

This forum, which comes within the framework of the global “Pink October” activities for breast cancer awareness, was organized under the supervision of the Directorate of Health and Population of the state of Sidi Bel Abbes, and in coordination between the “Hope in Life” Association and Djillali Liabes University.

The opening session was attended by a distinguished group including:

Professor Bouziani Merahi, Rector of Djillali Liabes University.

Mr. Kina Redouane, Director of Health and Population for the province.

Professor Yakrou Djamila.

Mr. Fakira Baroudi, President of the “Hope for Life” Association.

A number of general practitioners and other interested parties.
