Pink October 2025

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, the activities of “Pink October” were officially launched at the Directorate of Health, with the participation of the Sylvius Club.
The initiative aims to raise awareness about breast cancer and encourage women to undergo early screening.

The importance of early detection:

·         Increases the chances of recovery to over 95%.

·         Reduces mortality rates associated with breast cancer.

Main activities:

·         Educational lectures and seminars on the disease and methods of prevention.

·         Psychological support sessions for patients to help alleviate the emotional impact of the illness.

Community involvement:

·         Collaboration between health institutions and community organizations to unify efforts.

·         Promotion of solidarity and support for women affected by the disease, encouraging them to persevere.

This initiative marks a significant step toward a more aware and supportive society, where early detection becomes a life-saving habit.
