Meeting of the local steering committee for the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system at the university’s Directorate

On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m., the meeting room at the university’s Directorate hosted a meeting of the local steering committee for the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, as part of the ongoing work related to establishing an effective system that complies with approved standards.

The meeting was chaired by the Rector of the University, Professor Bouziani Merahi. The agenda was dedicated to discussing the requirement related to determining the needs and expectations of interested parties. The following points were addressed:

• Identifying the relevant interested parties and preparing an updated list of them.
• Clarifying their needs and requirements, as well as the mechanisms for integrating them into the quality management system.

Draft questionnaires intended for various interested parties (students, professors, and administrative staff) were also presented, with the aim of assessing their expectations of the quality management system. These questionnaires are to be approved by the steering committee before being distributed.

The contribution of all members remains an essential factor in ensuring a precise analysis and a participatory vision that strengthens the quality path within the university.
